I am Sue Pike Sawyer (preferably Suzie.) I live in the middle of a woodland hammock of north. Florida (quite different from Florida postcards!) I am surrounded by beautiful hardwood trees & lush native foliage. It is not unusual to see rare birds & native critters when walking thru the woodland. Not very far from me are the beautiful cool, crystal clear natural mineral springs of this area. Living here is my heaven on earth. It is these surroundings that influence my creative endeavors. The energy that surrounds me nurtures and renews my spirit daily.

I attended the University of Florida in Fine Art. I guess that my work might be called multi-media. My creative media includes doll making, sculpting, quilting, painting, and sewing. I often find it quite interesting that different media tend to crossover into each other! Seeking continuously to improve my work, I am always in search of new and exciting information and learning, as well as sharing what I have learned with others.
